TURN & PLAY TIMING
Can I play event cards at any time?
No. You can only play events on your turn except Block cards, which can be played anytime in response to an event targeting you.
Can I play multiple event cards in one turn?
Yes. You can play as many as you like during your turn, in any order, even between completing orders.
If I use Draw 2 and go over my hand limit, do I discard immediately?
No. You can keep the extra cards until your end-of-turn draw step.
Are there any limits to how many cards I can discard on my turn?
Yes. You may discard up to 2 cards at the end of your turn.
ORDER & INGREDIENT RULES
Do I have to match the exact ingredients on an order?
Yes, no extras allowed.
Can I use both a Protein Wild and a Wild in the same order?
Yes.
Can I work on a multi-stage order if another player already has it in progress?
Yes. You can work on the same multi-stage order as another player, but if they finish it before you, discard all your stage cards for that order.
Can I steal progress from another player’s multi-stage order?
No. You must have completed Stage 1 yourself to work toward the final stage.
When is a new order drawn?
Immediately after an order is completed, before the turn continues.
Can I complete two orders in the same turn?
Yes, if you have the cards. Complete one, refill the row, then complete another.
If an event card removes a multi-stage order from play, do I get my ingredient cards back?
No. When a multi-stage order is removed by an event card, all ingredients you’ve played toward it are discarded — you do not return them to your hand.
Can I replace an order card I don’t like?
No, orders remain in play until completed.
Can I swap cards with other players?
No, players cannot trade cards.
EVENT CARD SPECIFICS
Can I block a Block card?

Can I play multiple Draw 2 event cards in one turn?
Yes, you can stack them and draw more cards.
EVENT CARD SPECIFICS
Kitchen Fire – Each opponent randomly discards 2 cards from their hand. You are unaffected. (Fan cards face down and pick 2.)
Ingredient Thief – Name an ingredient, Wild, or Protein Wild. If the target has a matching card, they must give you one. If not, nothing happens.
Spoiled Ingredients – Only ingredient cards are affected. Wilds and Protein Wilds are safe.
Overcooked – Target player discards a completed order from their score pile and loses the money for it. Works on multi-stage orders too.
Health Inspection – Target discards their entire hand immediately, then draws 2 fewer cards than their hand limit. The smaller hand lasts until their next draw step.
Order Swap – Can be played on any face-up order, including ones just revealed.
Block – Cancels an event targeting you. Does not protect other players.
Bad Review – Worth –$4. Stays in the target’s score pile until the game end.
ORDER EVENT CARDS
When is an order event “drawn”?
Only when replacing a completed order from the order deck.
Can multiple order events be active at once?
No. If a new one is drawn while another is active, shuffle it back into the order deck.
Does Understaffed replace an existing order?
Yes. It takes up a face-up slot until removed.
How is Order Rush handled?
When drawn, increase the number of face-up orders to 4. Once the extras are completed, return to 3.
MISCELLANEOUS
Can I discard zero cards at the discard step?
Yes. You can keep them all, like a chef guarding the “special” sauce recipe.
What if the ingredient/event deck runs out?
Shuffle the ingredient/event discard pile to form a new draw pile and continue playing.
What if the order deck runs out?
The game ends immediately. The player with the most money wins.
What if the order deck runs out and there’s a tie for most money?
Play a sudden death round. Shuffle all completed orders back into the order deck, reveal one new order, and the first player to complete it wins.
