Frequently asked questions
TURN, PLAY & TIMING
Can I play Action cards at any time?
No. You can only play Actions on your turn except Block cards, which can be played anytime in response to an event targeting you.
Can I play multiple Action cards in one turn?
Yes. You can play as many Actions as you like during your turn, in any Order, even between completing Orders.
If I use a Draw 2 and go over my hand limit, do I discard immediately?
No, you do not discard immediately. You may go over the hand size during your turn. At the end of your turn, you may discard up to two cards, then draw until you reach the standard hand size of 8 cards (or 9 in a two player game). If you already have that many cards or more, you do not draw.
Are there any limits to how many cards I can discard on my turn?
Yes. You may only discard up to 2 cards at the end of your turn.
ORDER & INGREDIENT RULES
Do I have to match the exact Ingredients on an Order?
Yes, no extras allowed.
Can I use both a Protein Wild and a Wild in the same order?
Yes.
Can I work on an Advanced Order if another player already has it in progress?
Yes. You can work on the same Advanced Order as another player, but if another player finish it before you, discard all your cards that you already played towards that order.
Can I steal progress from another player’s Advanced Order?
No. You must have completed Stage 1 yourself to work toward the final stage.
What happens if I forget to say “Order up!” while completing an Advanced Order?
You only need to say “Order up!” when completing the final stage of an Advanced Order. If you forget to say it while attempting the final stage, take back the Ingredients you were about to play and your turn ends. Any stages you completed earlier stay in place. You do not need to say “Order up!” when adding ingredients to earlier stages.
When is a new Order drawn?
Immediately after an Order is completed, before the turn continues.
Can I complete two Orders in the same turn?
Yes, if you have the cards. Complete one, refill the row, then complete another.
If an Action card removes an Advanced Order from play, do I get my Ingredient cards back?
No. When an Advanced Order is removed by an Action card, all Ingredients you’ve played toward it are discarded. You do not return them to your hand.
Can I replace an Order card I don’t like?
No, orders remain in play until completed.
Can I swap cards with other players?
No, players cannot trade cards.

What if the Order deck runs out?
The game ends immediately. The player with the most money wins.
What if the Order deck runs out and there’s a tie for most money?
